Adriana holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology and an M.S. in Bioinformatics. She began her career in biotechnology, working on microbial systems, and later shifted her focus to solving challenges in manufacturing. At Hyphae, she leads R&D and is building the company’s machine learning pipeline to optimize additive formulations and restore high-performance plastics.
David holds a B.Eng. in Mechanical Design. He trained in China in production and engineering design and previously managed a full injection molding business in Mexico. Now a lead engineer in the U.S., he brings hands-on experience in manufacturing, automation, and product development to Hyphae’s technical leadership.

What types of plastic can your system recover?
We focus on industrial plastics used in extrusion and injection molding, including thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and selected biodegradables such as PLA. We’re constantly expanding compatibility through testing and formulation updates.

We design our process to meet the original mechanical and processing specs of the material. Our additive formulations are tuned to each resin type, and we validate results through mechanical testing, customer benchmarks, and real-world part trials.
